In light of the recent General Motors announcements concerning our schedule and future operations at Orion Assembly, following is information regarding these issues from the International UAW and from your Local Union Leadership. BENEFIT

: How
long will health insurance be in effect? ANSWER:
Health, Vision, and Dental coverage continue monthly based on your seniority as
of the last day worked: Less
than 1 year seniority = 1 month coverage 1 but
less than 2 = 4 months 2 less
than 3 = 6 months 3 less
than 4 = 8 months 4 less
than 5 = 10 months 5 less
than 10 = 13 months 10 and
over = 25 months Health

How do Tier 2
members benefits differ? ANSWER:
National
Agreement Pg. 277 through 293 Articles 1 and 2 and Sections
1 – 7 describes Entry Level Employees wages and benefits in great detail
and too complex to reprint or excerpt here.

to the Benefits Department at 5210 QUESTION

How long will the Tuition Assistance Program last once I am laid-off? ANSWER:
Tuition Assistance will continue until said employee goes time for time.
QUESTION: How
long can you collect sub pay? ANSWER: The following Table is the schedule for SUB based on seniority as of the last day worked. 20 20 Years Plus - 52 Weeks SUB 52 Weeks TSP 10 - 20 Years 39 Weeks SUB 39 Weeks TSP 1-10 Years 26 Weeks SUB 26 Weeks TSP SUB Credits are used when you are placed on a Qualifying Layoff
Tier
2 - Less than 1 year seniority - Not Eligible Tier 2 - With 1 Year but less than three years seniority - 26 Weeks
QUESTION: Can
Sub-pay be sent by direct deposit?
ANSWER: No. There
have been no discussions on this matter and that system is not in place at this
time.
