WELCOME

On behalf of the Orion Assembly Joint Leadership Team, we would like to invite all Orion Employees to attend informational meetings, at the plant, to meet face-to-face with the Joint Leadership Team and to find out first-hand our current status and the plans for the future.

DATES AND TIMES

Meetings will be held on Wednesday, August 4^th and Thursday, August 5^th at Orion Assembly in the HRD Conference Center .  Everyone will attend per Alpha order.  If your last name begins with the letters A-C your day to attend will be August 4^th from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.   Last letters of D-F will attend on the 4^th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and G-I will attend on the 4^th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and J-L will attend from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.   On August 5^th from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. the letters of M-O will take part and P-R will have their meeting from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Those with a last name beginning with S-U will meet from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and V-Z will meet from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

TEAM  LEADERS AND CORE TEAM

During the meetings, information will be shared regarding the roles and responsibilities of the Team Leader per the GMS Principles.  Directly following the meetings Orion Team Members will be able to sign up to take a Team Leader Assessment or to become a member of a Departmental Core Team Unit.

FACTORY OF THE FUTURE

This is the first in many steps to having our facility back on line and open for business.  We encourage everyone to attend the informational meetings to see where we are and where we are going.  Soon we will become the only plant in North America building a small car and we intend to build it for a profit.  For the first time in a long time consumers will be able to purchase a small, fuel efficient, high quality vehicle that is not only Made-in-America, but made right here in Michigan.  Welcome back to Orion Assembly, Factory of the Future.
